"Nicole brought me in to teach some masterclasses for her students in South Jersey. And I'll tell you, those dancers were hungry. Not just skilled. Not just technical. They were curious. Focused. Excited to learn. Which told me everything I needed to know about Nicole — as a teacher. She built that classroom culture.

Fast forward a few summers and some more masterclasses with her students...Nicole's blown up on socials. She's sharing her award-winning comp pieces, teaching at Broadway Dance Center, and inspiring tap teachers all over the world with her social posts.

But even with all that momentum, she chose to continue her own education as a tap teacher. She enrolled in the iTap Teacher Certificate Program in Summer 2023. Not because she needed credentials. Not because she didn't already have a loyal student base.

But because she wanted to go deeper. She wanted tools for teaching mixed-level classes with clarity. How to bring tap dance history and music theory into the room. How to round-out the tap dance education she was offering her students.

This is one of the many reasons I admire Nicole so much. She shows up as a student, even when she's already leading. And that's what our dance community needs.

"We found Nicole on Instagram after a discussion with a dance mate. We followed Nicole's incredible routines and looked forward to our first opportunity to take a class with her at Broadway Dance Center. After that first class, my daughter was hooked. We make every effort to do as much as we can with her.
